I am a notebook addict. Pages must be ultra smooth, a pleasing color (not bright white), minimal bleed through and decent line spacing. This notebook hits all my must haves. In addition, this notebook has an amazing line pattern. Thin grey lines are separated by a grid pattern. I have never seen anything like it. It is PERFECT for learning to print Russian and write Russian cursive. It's also fun for small drawings and diagrams. I first found this notebook in LA at an art store but as soon as I saw it on Amazon I picked up another one. Yes, it's a luxury but it keeps my motivation up for learning Russian. The perfect match to this notebook are inexpensive pilot G-2 gel rollers in 0.7 mm.Honestly, Moleskine and all the other dot grid books are just junk compared to this, with the exception of Rhodia. But even Rhodia dot grid has dots too close together to be useful for writing normal size text.
