There are no other erasers that work this well that I've ever found since grade school in the mid 70's. I stopped using pencils decades ago, but now that I have a son in first grade, I've found the need to have them again in my life. He's a typical first grader that has to erase as he does things, and the erasers on the ends of pencils are, as they have always been, a joke. Other erasers that try to emulate these are usually much stiffer, harder, rip paper easily, and just smudge things more than they erase. And the little pencil capper erasers that you can put over the end are a joke, they bend and flop, and as you use then, ultimately you end up with a tube rather than an eraser, and if you're not careful you end up with the metal edge of the pencil end cutting into the paper and ripping it anyway.These are easy to hold, especially for a first grader. They're incredibly inexpensive (especially via amazon prime with free shipping) and they just WORK. Period. Better than any other eraser I've used.These erasers do a great job and look like the ones I used when I was a child back in the twentieth century. I got the package and inside was a receipt from Sam's Club with my name on it. It almost seems like a gift receipt because there is no price on it. Anyhow, I paid a $1.86 with free shipping at Amazon. The price at Sam's Club is $1.48 plus $0.12 sales tax in my local and it says shipping is free and I am not a Sam's Club member, so it may not let me check out without a membership card. Anyway, I think this is a clever idea to make money. A person places an order to you and you have the order fulfilled and drop shipped from Sam's Club. Sell to the dedicated Amazon fans and make a few pennies. How very clever.These are actually the only erasers I will buy/use. They have always been of a consistently high quality and though it may seem like any eraser will do the trick, if you've used pretty much any other eraser you would know that's not the case. It's nice have 3 because I keep one in my backpack, one at my desk, and one in my pencil pouch. It's probably silly to write a review for erasers but I'm just a fan haha.When you need to erase a mistake, this is the eraser to use. These do not smudge or smear. The erase cleanly and do not leave any pink residue like some of the cheaper imitation types. You won't go wrong with these.These erasers were part of the "granny school supply storage" shopping list. I always get extra stuff and store it so that last minute needs are not do-or-die Indy 500 dashes to the store before school opens! Well, they came in handy the other day when my grandson woke me up in a panic because he had lost his eraser out of his bookbag. I love volume packed and priced items. Three for one is not bad. This kid truly needs an eraser trio pack! Anyway, the price was right, delivery fast, and packaging came with other items, so I can't really rate it individually for that. All was well though.These are essential for homework. My kid loses them all the time. Glad I bought the package of them and they erase beautifully. No smudges. I will buy again !They are what was requiredNothing in the world erases graphite as thoroughly and cleanly as a Pink Pearl eraser. If they ever stop making them, I'll move to another planet which still does. Also, remember to try the Faber Castell Eraser Pencils, which use a Pink Pearl eraser as the insert. Those are great for delicate erasing. And if you just want to do some blotting, without totally erasing, add some grey kneaded erasers to your drawing arsenal.These are really good for doing the crossword as they erase wrong entries with ease and without smudging the crossword.These erasers work really well, without the usual smudge.Highly recommended if you require a decent eraser.Good rubbers remind me if my school daysGoodDoes what it says; a good product.
